The Faculty of Agronomy, which has been among the leaders of agricultural education in Ukraine for 156 years, according to employers.
The faculty consists of the following departments:
- Department of Crop Production: here students are provided with in-depth knowledge of the plant world, which is mandatory for the future agronomist.
- Department of Agrochemistry and Soil Science: teachers of the department will develop students' skills of competent care for the best soils and all plants in the world.
- Department of Genetics, Plant Breeding and Biotechnology: with scientific and pedagogical staff of the department students conduct interesting research on the technologies of the future, acquire the subtleties of natural selection by human hands and the creation of new species of already known plants.
- Department of General Agriculture: although the profession of farmer is one of the oldest on Earth, its secrets are still not fully disclosed. But all known at present teachers of department share with students.
