An event dedicated to the foundation of the United Nations

On the 24^th of October in the world traditionally is celebrated the International Day of the creation of the United Nations (UN), which was founded since the adoption of the UN Charter - a document that describes all goals and types of activity of the organization.

 Exactly to this holiday was dedicated an event, which was conducted by the lecturers of Management Faculty for students of 1-3  courses of the speciality “Management of International Economic Activities” and for students of the 1  course of the speciality “Tourism” and “Hotel and Restaurant Business”.

At the beginning were presented interesting reports “History of the creation of the United Nations as a universal international organization” (speaker -  student of 11-Z group Anastasya Belim), “The structure and purpose of the United Nations activities” (speaker - student of 11-Z group Iryna Onischuk), “Ukraine and the United Nations” (speaker - student of 11-Z group Snizhana Shvets), “UN Convention “On the rights of the Child” (speaker - student of 11-TM group Anna Tsarynna), “The Present and Future of the United Nations” (speaker - student of 31-Z group Sergiy Slobodyanyk).

The students presented hand-made products and wall newspapers, which reflected their own vision of the United Nations.

At the end of the event everyone was able to taste a delicious cake that portrayed the globe with pigeons.
