Dedication of freshmen to students at Uman National University of Horticulture

A solemn dedication to students has become a tradition for Uman National University of Horticulture. It is a holiday for the whole university family, which is replenished with a new generation of students every year. Even in the morning on the central square of the campus was crowded, there were exhibitions of departments and faculties of the university.

The rector of the University, Mrs. Olena Nepochatenko and honored guests, were invited to take part in the celebrations.

First-year students, lined up in the central square, were led by deans and their deputies, who will become good mentors for students during their studies at the university. Loud applause greeted the luminaries of science, wise mentors of students – university professors.

Rector of the University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Olena Nepochatenko, sincerely congratulated the audience on the Day of Knowledge and dedication of freshmen to students. She also addressed sincere words of congratulations to the teaching staff of the university, thanked colleagues for hard work, skills, patience and wished good health, family warmth and comfort, as well as new labor and scientific achievements for the benefit of the University and Ukraine.

Greetings were also heard from distinguished guests who came to honor the honorable work of agrarians and to congratulate freshmen who will continue the noble cause of their predecessors in the future.

The culmination of the celebration was the presentation of freshmen to the precious heritage of all mankind – the symbolic "Book of Wisdom", "Key to Knowledge" and the kindling of the fire of knowledge.

Hard work, victories and overcoming obstacles are ahead for students, and every student will wear the high title of a student of Uman National University of Horticulture with dignity!
