Dear friends!

Since its existence, Uman National University of Horticulture proved itself as a powerful educational and scientific center, the center of culture and spirituality. The history of our university – is the pride of “Umanshchyna”, “Cherkashchyna” and whole Ukraine. Its authority is obtained by hard work of many generations of lecturers, scientists and students. Its real treasury - is wisdom and erudition of thousands of graduates.

Studying at university – is a great honor. For students studying, all conditions are created: powerful material base, educational classrooms and labs, computer classes with access to the Internet, modern scientific library. Feel yourself as a part of history, as creators of the glorious future of our University!

Next year, 2014 will be the anniversary year for “Cherkashchyna”: Ukraine will commemorate the 200^th anniversary of the world-famous son of Cherkasy land Taras Shevchenko; the region will celebrate 60 years of the formation; and our University will celebrate its 170^th birthday.

I wish you good health, happiness, tireless energy, new discoveries and achievements! I am sure that sidereal time of our university is still ahead, and in the future we have a lot to do for the benefit of education in Ukraine!
